As a Coleman Taylor manager, Stuart Mays has been with the Coleman Taylor family since 1985.
He and his
family relocated to Williamson County in 1990 to manage Coleman Taylor
Transmission in Franklin on
Plaza Dr.
In July 2007 Coleman Taylor moved to it's current location at 318 Downs Blvd.
As a manager, Stuart has received Coleman Taylor's highest award, "Manager of the Year"
five times along with numerous other awards over his 24 years with the Coleman Taylor family,
Stuart says: "It has been my pleasure to serve the Franklin and surrounding areas, the people and the community have truly been a blessing".
In 1961 Larry Coleman and his brother-in-law Bill
Taylor
opened a transmission shop and started
44 year history of growth and development.
Every manager who operates a store comes through the ranks
from the bottom up, so that everyone is a fully trained ASE certified technician. When an employee attains the
expertise, we start looking for a location for him to manage. We expand to create opportunities for our employees.
